Flashing battery on dash
After some research, this off and on battery warning light means I have an alternator problem. I have a 2008 Ford motorhome with 30,000 miles. Do Ford engines usually have alternator problems at that mileage?

I have to agree. They are not calibrated at all.
If you know your house battery is fully charged, disconnect it from the vehicle charging system
