Flat towing 2011 Honda Pilot 4WD

Question

Has anyone had any experience towing the Pilot?  Some posts have indicated you can do so, and they make base plates for them, however the manual says you can't tow 4 wheels down.Thanks for any input.

On my wife's MDX same as the Pilot, never tow with 4 down due to the AWD system. I recall the service manual state to tow on a flat bed or similar. I can look later tonight at the manual for other options... If I were to tow it, I would use my car hauler for transport. If you have the 2 wheel drive then u can tow it with the rear tires down.
