Flat towing a 2016 GMC Canyon, 6 speed standard

I tried to dig through the owner manual info and my only guess is that the manual shift truck doesn't offer a 4WD, or a 4WD that shifts to neutral. Manual does say you can back a 2WD onto a dolly and tow it backwards So Long As you use an aftermarket steering wheel keeper. I don't know if dolly manufacturers endorse that or not, most RVers do not.
