Flat towing a 2016 GMC Canyon, 6 speed standard

Flat towing a 2016 GMC Canyon, 6 speed standard. I am looking to buy one but the Manuel does not address a standard transmission. This is a low end truck with a 4 cylinder engine Similar to a Chevy Colorado .

    Reading the GMC owners manual tells me that ONLY four wheel drive Canyons can be flat towed. Is the one you are looking to buy 4WD?
