I just used a small hand held vacuum with a clean filter on a 1 x 2 foot area. First pass got a large amount of white powdery fibers. Second pass, a bit less, but still a lot. Third pass was still more than I expected, plus when I lightly wiped my hand over the area still got white powder on my hand. Might try a stronger vacuum to get more out of it, but it doesn't appear I can get rid of all of the loose stuff. I just don't like the idea of those fibers falling all over the place especially travelling on the 'wonderful' roads we have.
