What do you carry in case of a flat? It seems a small floor jack would be a good idea, or is there something else to consider? The floor jack weighs about 25lbs. I'm guessing. Any recommendations welc...

There really is no need for a jack for the trailer.
If your trailer has 2 axles, just pull your good tire (on the side that has the flat) up onto your leveling blocks (for me its three 2 X 8's) and the flat is hanging high enough to change.
If your trailer has 1 axle, more than likely the jack that comes with your truck will be sufficient.
