Understand her feeling, I'm the same way about swimming in the ocean, everyone can laugh, but I saw JAWS and I'm not about to go into the ocean swimming, although I do paddle a canoe in gator infested waters, just a little more brave with the canoe,tell your wife they are a little more afraid of you,as long as you do not mess around a mother gator with little ones, maybe try a bigger size boat, she might feel safer.
