  • Sorry if you cannot handle one more instrument in the panel. I guess you never turned a radio know.

My eyes never leave the road with the phone mounted properly. How would one get reports otherwise? Not calling some hotline.

I am a pilot and can walk and chew gum at the same time. Quite talented actually.
  • Several studies aver that "hands-free" cell phones are not less distracting than plain old hands on phones. It's the mental interaction that is distracting. Like Click & Clack always said: "Hang up and drive".

Great, one more thing for people to do instead of paying attention to their driving.

Yes, because saying "ok waze, report accident" is such a freaking problem...
Ah, the app is open all the time and you don't have to bring it up, or mess with the phone in any way. Or pick up the phone from the seat, or dig it out of your pocket or purse. Like I said, just one more distraction.

Yup, mine autolaunches when it sees the bluetooth in any of my vehicles and I have a magnetic base that the phone snaps to. It's basically a really advanced GPS unit. When in auto mode it has a very simple touch interface, but more importantly everything can be controlled via voice. It's actually much better than the factory integrated units in any vehicle I've been in.

My passengers rarely pay much attention to my driving, it's never been much of a problem.
