If you have a good air conditioner in the MH both when driving down the road or stopped for the night I would drive. The cost savings vs fly/hotel is nearly 50% as long as nothing breaks.
So here's my two cents:
Lots of great sights to see along the way that will be missed at 35,000ft.
I'm a lot more comfortable in a MH than in a plane
As long as I and my DW have good air conditioning we are happy
If I feel my MH is up to the trip then I would take it
Air conditioning is the deal breaker...no air,no MH
