Personally, I would fly. What's most important is the comfort of your DW. This gives you more time on vacation as well. You drop your travel time to 2 days versus about 5 as you stated, so if your goal is to just get there and get back, leave the mh behind. If you like to mosey then maybe the mh is the way to go. If DW is comfortable flying by herself then the best compromise is probably her flying, you driving. But, why don't you ask her instead of us?
