Depends on the wines you enjoy. There are quite a few great wineries in the area. Rideau, Foley are both great. Some of the best are in the Wine Ghetto in Lompoc. But everyone has their likes and dislikes in wine. The region is mostly known for Pinot Noir. If you tried just the well known wineries made popular in the movie Side Ways then you missed the good ones!!
There are also a few appointment only wineries we've found that are excellent.
