Flying Flags Solvang

We'll be at Flying Flags next weekend. See you at the Spa.
Our Allegro will be parked next to an Eagle 5th wheel.
Happy Trails.
PS. My adult children will be staying in the house.:)

  • Yep, Paula's is great. We also like Industrial Eats and the Hitching Post.
  • The place to go for the best breakfasts when staying at Flying Flags is
Ellens Danish Pancake House, all their food is excellent.

A short walk from the campground, and the best around. I would not miss it,we go every time we are at Flying Flags.
  • I've also found the local wineries in the Santa Ynez valley to be mediocre at best. Nothing that I've ever jonesed for after trying it.

Paula's Pancake House, on the other hand, is the best.
  • We like Flying Flags a lot, and we visit the wineries at least once a year. Yes, some of them are mediocre and overpriced, but we have our favorites and are very picky about what we buy.
  • Just heard of this CG from my neighbor, looks like a nice place .

I used a synonym (def: a word you use when you can't spell the word you want):B
  • Looks like a nice place! Make sure to try the pea soup across the street.
The DW and I stayed at a condo in Solvang a couple years ago. We really enjoyed the town but were disappointed with the local wineries. For all the acclaim, the wines were mostly just OK and overpriced.
  • Enjoy, we'll probably be digging out from the next snow storm. :(
  • Are you staying in the new part? I had to leave the day they opened that part. They looked real nice, hope to get back there later this year.
