Interesting. It looks as if growing up on a farm reduces your immune system response to food proteins. In other words it reduces food allergies.

But is that the same thing as saying it gives you a better immune system? Doesn't sound like it to me. I'm with Bumpy on this one, where are the studies showing a healthier immune system, overall?
This article by the NHS in the UK suggests that drinking less alcohol, hitting the gym, reducing your stress and watching your weight might be better for your immune system:

I agree with the article. Let's stop eating and drinking at pot lucks and exercise more. We'll live longer.
