you don't have to eat at a potluck. a potluck is a social event, not just a cheap place to eat.
you don't have to drink alcoholic drinks if you're a tee total-er.
you don't have to drink sugary drinks if you are on a low sugar diet.
you don't have to eat meat if you're a vegetarian.
