I love to see our flag flown, it is a source of great pride to me, but I do not see it as a decoration or something to be flown to draw attention to yourself… especially the commercial businesses that keep trying to outdo one another for the sole purpose of drawing attention to themselves…
If you fly the flag for any reason other than showing your respect for it, our country, those that fought under and died for it, and the freedom it represents don’t bother…
You do not need to prove your patriotism by flying it and flying the flag does not prove your patriotism…
It’s a matter of the heart and if you fly it fly it properly… freedom doesn’t mean you get to make your own rules…
