For those Who Monitor the Temperature in the Refridgerator

What type of Thermometer do you use and where do you place it? Also what kind of readings do you get? We have been RV'ing for a LONG time and I have NEVER been happy about the way the refrigerators...

I have both an analog one you put ini refer and a outdoor/indoor temperature that has an outdoor sensor that is wired. I put that in the refer and run the wire on the hinge side and taped on a panel above the refer.
