For those Who Monitor the Temperature in the Refridgerator

What type of Thermometer do you use and where do you place it? Also what kind of readings do you get? We have been RV'ing for a LONG time and I have NEVER been happy about the way the refrigerators...

Our Norcold fridge is 18 years old now, and while it still works perfectly, we do prefer having the peace of mind that the temperature alarm and high/low recording features on our dual digital thermometer gives us.
