For those Who Monitor the Temperature in the Refridgerator

What type of Thermometer do you use and where do you place it? Also what kind of readings do you get? We have been RV'ing for a LONG time and I have NEVER been happy about the way the refrigerators...

As an old restaurant guy I have a probe thermometer hanging in it's sleeve clipped to the shelf. I made sure to calibrate it first. Hangs out of the way and is a quick guide on temp.
