For those Who Monitor the Temperature in the Refridgerator

What type of Thermometer do you use and where do you place it? Also what kind of readings do you get? We have been RV'ing for a LONG time and I have NEVER been happy about the way the refrigerators...

One thing to keep in mind- most thermometers measure air temperature. A small but important point is it doesn't matter what the air temperature is, you want to know the temperature of the food, so for testing purposes, we put a thermometer in a glass of water. After all- you open the door once and the air is going to be ambient.
