For those Who Monitor the Temperature in the Refridgerator

What type of Thermometer do you use and where do you place it? Also what kind of readings do you get? We have been RV'ing for a LONG time and I have NEVER been happy about the way the refrigerators...

The sure cure for all the worry, install a household fridge and the problem is solved. We replaced a side-by-side Dometic with a Whirlpool and everything inside is either frozen solid or 33deg.
