One thing I learned on this forum relating to camping and RV fridge's that I thought was 'real' important. Is how would you know if while you were away from your RV if the power went out?
Put a couple of ice cubes in a zip lock bag and keep in your freezer.
If the power was out for any length of time the cubes would melt in the bag. Power out long enough to melt the ice means an unsafe raise in the fridge temps and have your food spoil and contain harmful bacteria.
Even though when the power comes back on they will refreeze but not in the shape of the original cubes. Thereby alerting you there was a substantial period of no power.
I started doing this and have had 2 times where the cubes had melted and refroze. So without this little tell tale bag I would have not known.
