Looks like a nifty gadget but with so many real negative reviews, I just couldn't see taking a chance.
Apparently we got one of the good ones like the other 70% of the reviewers did that gave it 4's or 5's. Our Chaney set has worked perfectly for the three years or so we've used it. The temp readings are within a degree of our conventional fridge thermometer reading when placed in the same location.
