I dunno...I know that my RV fridge isn't EXACTLY like the fridge at home, but ice cubes form in the ice tray in the freezer and the milk and beer seem good and cold in the fridge.
What am I missing here?
I find that RV'ers that have problems with the fridge staying cold are in and out of it all day long and leave the door open longer like how we do at home. Add some kids to that mix and in the course of a day the fridge is not going to stay a constant cold temp..
The RV fridge can't keep up like that. Put a cheap thermometer on the shelf and open the door and see how FAST the temp goes up. You home fridge temp wouldn't even budge.
Kinda like the learning curve of taking military showers in an RV. You have to practice keeping that door closed quickly after you get something out of it.
Like when making dinner at home we most likely will take something out and put it on the counter and go back and get another item, leaving the door open. Can't take that habit with you in an RV if you want that fridge to stay cold!!.:C
