Which axle on an empty pickup is carrying more than its share of the load? Which axle is better designed for carrying heavy loads? They must figure the front can lose a little without doing any harm. I tend to agree with them since I have towed lots of construction equipment trailers without any WD with no problems. I remember when we towed with sedans and the goal with four hundred pounds of tongue weight was to put one hundred pounds on each tire.
