We towed a 2013 CMax for almost four years before we sold the CMax with the RV. It towed fine but you must have a charge line between the RV and CMax to keep the battery charged when towing. We had Blue Ox Patriot brake box. That particular box has settings specific to hybrids. We found the car to be fine for shorter trips but found it too small on long trips. The car had close to 100,000 total miles when sold and had averaged about 41 mpg. It was reliable and relatively trouble free.
