Ford Mustang

I'm looking at a '98 Ford Mustang as a potential dingy vehicle. My interest in this make and model is due it belonging to a relative who wants to sell it far below Blue Book value. I have funds to do repairs that may be needed. The car has a manual transmission and is rear wheel drive. This topic was not covered in the owner's manual I found online. Can this model be towed four down with the transmission in the neutral position? Any input will be appreciated.
  • Rear drive must have a drive shaft disconect device. They are available. Check Remco. Don't judge by tow bar availability.
  • See if "Blueox or towmaster etc) makes a baseplate for it. If so it's towable. Most manual transmissions are towable.
