Well here's the last part of the report that Ford beat out the Escalade for being the most stolen car........

The Escalade has held the number one spot for the most stolen car BECAUSE it was 'so easy to steal'! Escalade revamped the car so it is now harder to steal so they dropped to second place.

So the Ford vs Chevy based on theft is a moot point!

Actually if you combine the GM trucks (Chevy and GMC)they outsell ford. .

Look again. F series outsells GM trucks.
Year to date. Ford F series = .299,477
GM Silverado, and Sierra =.... 270332
Even if you add the Avalanche, 10,166. Comes to 280,498. Ford still leads by 18,979 trucks. So you see. GMC, and Chevy combined, Do not out sell Ford

thinking back at the vehicles owned over the past 25 years. 5 Jeep, 4 VW, 4 chevy trucks, 1 chevy car, 1 mitsubishi, 2 UD diesel, 1 mb 300D turbo, and not one ford. Hmmmmm

That's all pretty much in the past now and most likely does not affect how people love their vehicles. I do think GM took the biggest hit discontinuing so many of their different divisions. Which would leave you to believe if they didn't have enough of those tried and true GM buyers those people WHERE buying something else.
