Ford vs Chevy :)



Ford "Officially" the more popular vehicle! :B

Just the Facts:
The Ford F-250 has replaced the Cadillac Escalade as the favorite target of thieves, says the Highway Loss Data Institute.

    All three auto makers took loans. GM and Dodge could not get a bank to loan them money and Ford had to go back and beg the family for cash. Amoricans think Ford is the best thing that every was. GM payed back the government in 6 months.

    I heard that ARP sells 10X's as many head studs to 6.0 owners as they do to Duramax owners. :B

    Let us not forget who did NOT take money from the government during the our country's biggest financial disaster and made it thru on their own and came out on top.

    Sadly Chevy can't say that, they took TONS of money$$$ AND they still had to file bankruptcy to stay alive even after dropping several of their divisions didn't help. :W

    Actually if you combine the GM trucks (Chevy and GMC)they outsell ford. GM must be doing something right because they are a bigger company than ford. Also remember when you have an inferior product you sell it cheap to move it off the lot or trick people into buying it ;), when you have a quality product the price is going to be higher :C. And a lot of people are buying GM so I guess they rather a good truck over the shiny sparklers they put on ford. I have a buddy who left dodge to get a ford because of what you get for the price and he regrets it every day he leaves his house. I am personally partial to GM and have a couple of trucks and a vette but I do have an old dodge cummins with 411,000 miles on it that wont die even if I shoot it but I don't plan on ever owning a ford longer than the time it takes me to sell it. imho.

    Our 1992 Chevy K1500 just retired after 21 years of faithful service, snow plowing, and more than its share of abuse. :)

    I dated DH in that truck, rode to my wedding in that truck, brought firstborn home from the hospital in that truck and that firstborn practiced driving on it himself. Love that Chevy so much we included it in a professional portrait session.

    That said the few times DH buried it so deep that it needed saving it was a Ford belonging to one of our best friends (go Big Red) that pulled us out.

    Whatever the make - may you always get a good one :)

    I'm in trouble I guess. I have an F-150 I drive daily. I have a Chevy Corvette parked next to my Ford chasis MH in my garage which is next to my restored 73 Ford Tbird!! I do keep DW's Hyundai SUV parked in it's own separate garage where it can't contaminate the others.
