Do you have one and have you actually weighed it? I tow a Dodge Dakota 4x4 now and according to the scales at the dump it weighs about 4600 pounds with a full tank of gas and a little bit of junk in the extended cab. My motorhome tows it just fine but it's heavy and you can feel it back there. I wouldn't want to go with anything heavier but it's time to upgrade and it looks to me like the new F-150 may not be any heavier than the Dakota but Ford puts a range of weights down and doesn't tell what each specific truck weighs. I want the extended cab model with the six foot bed in 4x4. If it's close to 4600 pounds empty I'd do it as it would only be a few hundred pounds more with some gas in it. But I have pulled my Dakota with a 500 pound quad in the bed too which puts it well over 5000 pounds, so I have room to play.
