Forest River fined $35 Million
Maybe this will wake up not only F.R. but the rest of the RV manufacturers that it's time for a new business model that focues a little more on consumer safety: Forest River and NHTSA

I doubt the fine will result in higher prices - at least not anything substantial.
Fines like this are passed on the to stock holders (I worked for a co. that rec'd the biggest fine in history). The competition for FR's range of RV's is very stiff and they're not going to raise prices beyond the competition.
