Forest River XLR 27 pump issues
More than frustrated here guys, i have nothing but issues with this trailer since new. Its a 2013 and has a sureflow 4008 pump. Trailer works fine on city water but when i try running off the tank everything goes to pot. Its like its sucking air and constantly spits water it will never give a steady stream of water nor will it ever shut off. I have checked everything for leaks. I have been through all the trouble shooting of bleeding that air from the lines to making sure all the fittings are tight. I even replaced the line from the tank to the pump thinking there was a breach in the line somewhere. I am about out of options of things to check. It has been back to the stealership twice for this issue and comes back the same way it went in (of course they claim it worked fine for them though) and now is out of warranty. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, if i do wind up replacing the pump should i go with a better pump or stick with the same one?
