Found a definite cure for mice...
Back in late May, after I moved my rig to store it until the weather gets cooler, I unwittingly found a definitely cure for a mice problem.
Around Memorial Day, the Central Texas area not just had floods, but some twisters. One ripped through nearby, a few hundred feet from my rig, destroyed an entire section of chicken coops. Thankfully the birds were free-ranging, so none were killed.
Well, they promptly found shelter underneath my travel trailer and its gravel pad... promptly turning it into a place for egg laying.
Watching a hen pounce on a mouse also made me realize that the chickens are not as effective as cats... but they do get rid of critters.
