Free Camping
Hello Campers,
My name is Brandon Smith with the Corps of Engineers and I got your info off of the FMCA website. We're on the Black Warrior and Tombigbee Rivers in West Alabama and are looking for a few Park Host. The host would be required to spend 6-8 hours in the gatehouse greeting and checking campers in, cleaning the bathrooms once during their 3 day shift, then they would have 6 days off before returning for another 3 day shift. The position would include: free campsite with water, electric and sewer hookups, and free laundry. We'd love host that participate in Water Safety programs or Nature Walks with the Park Rangers involving school groups but this is not required. We would like to have at least a 3 month commitment but that is negotiable.
If your group is holding a rally or meeting close by we'd love to come meet you and give you more info in person if you'd have us.
Thanks for spreading the word and please let me know if anyone is interested or has questions. The parks are below in case people are not familiar with them.

In any case we'd love to host your group at our campgrounds and we could set up a lock and dam tour, history of our river, etc...
Thanks for your time and help making our parks a better place to camp,
Brandon Smith
