On my friction sway bar that I use a friction plate broke inside and fell out somewhere along the way. Has anyone replaced theirs, I hate to have to throw away the whole assembly? I have sent Etrailer...

from what I understand the friction plates (really just break pad material) are wear items. If yours has worn to where part of it has falled out of the bar it is time to replace the bar.
