Sounds like the same experience we had near Harrisburg, PA. Trying to get to slow lane to catch onramp. I turned turn signal on but this one gal refused to adjust her speed, she stayed right alongside of us.
Only way to get into the exit lane was to go left one lane, past a big rig, who assisted me by signaling and moving over in front of her. Made my exit and waved to the trucker, who waved back.
I now always try working with truckers, slowing down when they want to pass, using my lane. They have a thankless job and pi$$ing them off won't gain us anything. We found in every state we drove in, some a$$holes, but mostly we behaved people behind the wheel.
Maybe, op, you ran into the same people or rant about CW, GS, WM, DTV, Dish, ATT, VRZ. You just can not make some people happy!:B
