My sympathies. I don't understand the competitiveness, the jockeying for position that is meaninglessly faster, the general aggressive rudeness of driving. Funny some of my better trips are between south OC where I live and San Diego. But obviously it can happen on all the big roads.
For me east is pretty easy. It is north or northwest through the LA quagmire that is my biggest challenge. Santa Barbara and north is one of my favorite destinations, but 75+ miles of city. Haha. Lol. Sob.
Early Sunday morning is a good time to enter or exit the jungle. I hand it to pro truckers and bus drivers in this environment.
