When we are at regular camp grounds we are lit up pretty good around the camp site...
The awning area and front and back of trailer is all lit up. Most of the time we have a bon-fire going...
We also like to shine up a light into the trees from a bush in our near trailer outside area... We use two of the small desk lights with clamps with one pointing up and one pointing down. This give us a nice setting for us and also draws the night bugs/insects to that area.
At 10PM all of this gets shut down as per the camp ground 'LIGHTS OUT' instructions.
My trailer also has motion detector sensors for the front area under the patio and the back area. This turns on lights under the patio awning area when activated by the four legged and two legged things that wander through our camping space at night.
Great for giving me light to see where I am walking when I need to go do my midnight pee run...
I think most of us follow the camp ground rules... I know we try to blend in ok with the population and tolerate things... Its is a two way street I suspect. Each of we campers probably do things differently to our own liking.
This is one reason why I love camping creekside somewhere off the beaten path... Love to wake up to nice bon-fire going and sit in my nice chair drinking my morning coffee and watching the fish jump in the creek...
The four legged friends are alot more friendly sometimes...

If something bothers you then go report it management... That is what they are there for... Our Camping equipment is all on wheels and you can pull up your tent stakes and move to a different spot if you are not satisfied with your camping experience...
