Where did you find the mount for that camera, and what make & model camera is that?

Two years ago my wife got T-Boned by a truck that ran a red light. When she regained conscience in the hospital, the state trooper asked her what color was the light when she went through the intersection. She told the officer that she could not remember anything about her drive to work that morning. The state trooper told me that the truck driver was claiming that she ran the red light but the accident was still being investigated. I contacted my insurance company to go ahead and start the claim process.


A couple of days later a parked car had recorded the accident and the video was turned over to the police. It clearly showed the truck running the red light. With out that video, this whole accident and one gigantic lawsuit would have been on me.

All my vehicles have cameras now!

A swoop and squat is one good reason to have a Dash Cam.

As a retired OTR driver this one thing that was always taught in our safety classes,and has been tried on me quite a few times always with no success.

The only time that came close was once, I did not hit the car but when the driver came back to the truck and I told him to look at my windshield and pointed out the camera he and the other cars made a hasty retreat.

Ham Sandwiches are one of the biggest insurance scams going. All you can do is grin and bear it. A camera would probably be a lot of help.

I bought my Ojocam Pro 2 803 along with the hard wire kit off Amazon. Works great after doing a firmware update!

I had a minor accident where a lady changed lanes into me which turned into a he said/she said and it took 4 months for them to finally admit fault. Had I had the dash cam back then...............

Sounds like what happened to me. I was the Ham in the Sandwich. The lady I hit said that I hit her, then the guy hit me and I hit her again. I had 0 damage to my Neon. She has a bent bumper on her S10. She claimed injuries, and my insurance went up. Back then, I vowed to get a camera, but there were nothing economical 10+ years ago. Man, has things changed.
