I have one Tadi 120 degree camera on the back of the TC and another on the back of my enclosed trailer. I wouldn't be without them.

Haloview is getting good reviews and seems to be priced right.

Many new RV have this so-called Furrion prewire. Essentially a marketing effort to get you to buy a Furrion camera, overpriced and under performing compared to Haloview.

I'm installing the newer 5 inch screen MC5111 on my Cougar. It has a Furrion compatible bracket and power cable.

I can't imagine driving my camper without a back up camera. Knowing what's back there has saved me several times over thinking I know what's back there.
I bought a cheap camera off eBay that is wireless, connected to a video port on my GPS for my screen. Under $100.

We tried a Tadi Brothers product for 2 years but had random intermittent problems with it. We now have a Rear View Camera and it has been trouble free. clicky

I also have the tadi brothers. I have a dual camera, wifi built in system. the cameras are mounted 1 on back of camper, 1 on back of trailer. the 12V is wired into the clearance lights, turns lights on and camera comes on. I have a 2018 Ram with bucket seats, and monitor fits perfect into the top center console where you would put laptop. when you need camera, open console. cameras have sound (but its always turned off).

There is also another option, The Ford salt spreader camera. Also made for GM I believe.

I've got this one on order and will be giving it a try. It has pretty good reviews, under $150 and 100% wireless.

I had a rear view safety wireless camera. In 2 years had to replace the transmitter, and then the monitor died. Had only used it for 2 trips back and forth to Phoenix. When I called them, was told too bad. Wont't be buying from them again.

I've dealt with Tadi Brothers and have to say they gave me excellent customer service, but their actual tech support left a lot to be desired. One word of warning is beware of cameras with IR LEDs mounted behind the same plastic shield that protects the lens.

Eventually every one I had the LEDs would wash out the display due to reflected light and all you saw was basically what you'd see driving with high beams in a dense fog. When I mentioned this to Tadi while reviewing their camera options the reply I received was-

That said, Tadi did work very well with me when I was trying to get a rear view mirror with built in display. The problem there was any light reflection in the mirror would wash out the display making it virtually useless in daylight. They sent me several versions but none was acceptable and they eventually gave me a full refund, so kudos there. Thing is, if you're willing to wait you can get the same cameras direct from China on ebay for a lot less, which is what I eventually ended up doing.

I camp solo so I have two cameras. One backup and one monitoring the huge blind spot on the passenger side. This gives me visibility when backing out of parking spaces like at rest areas where you're usually forced to park at an angle unless you use the truck parking area, or those funky Y intersections where you need to see about 45* out from the side of the camper.

I tried a couple wireless options but always seemed to get interference at a time when I needed the camera most, so I eventually just went wired. I use a window boot on the pass through so I fished coax above the headliner and mounted connectors in the cabinet next to the overhead step and plug the cables in when I mount the camper. No more signal loss.

For the display I got a Windshield Mounting Arm that replaces the rear view mirror and mounted the display to that. I had a switch mounted in the overhead console so I could switch between cameras but last time out I made a bracket and mounted 2 displays to take in both views with a single glance.

To be honest, I like the field of view looking at the passenger side camera so much more than using the passenger side mirror I'm thinking of adding a 3rd camera for the drivers side. Just need to figure out a good place for that monitor. :)
