Frozen flat panel tv
Well we had good year with the camper. now a winterizing question. Living where it gets cold as in -0F or below. Should the flat panel TV come in? The trailer is stored at home so theft is not an issue.

- What is done with all the flat panel TV's built into motorhomes, 5th wheels etc?

it's not necessary. just be sure to not turn the TV back on until the RV interior has warmed up.- You will have people say it doesn’r matter or hurt them… Here is what the mfg’s said a couple of years ago…

- Thank you for submitting your inquiry to Samsung.For all 3 different technologies, LCD, DLP or PLASMA, the manufacturer recommends a storage temperature (TV off mode) between -4oF to 113oF (-20oC to 45oC). Same storage temperatures for all. We also recommend that regardless of what type you buy, that you unplug the TV from the wall socket when not in use for a very long period and to let TV warm up by just plugging it for 12 hours before operating the next time. - Samsung Limitless Support

We bought the TT in January but didn't pick it up until April. It sat outside in NY during that time.
But I brought the TV inside just for piece of mind when I put the TT in storage for the winter. - Ours stays in the RV year round, with temps as low as -20°.
- Peace of mind...bring it inside.
