Fuel Pump Hogs
I try to get into Pilots, Flying J's etc when travelling long distance. Most of these places also sell food, snacks, t-shirts etc.....my pet peeve is the bozos who leave their vehicle at the pump afte...

We are more likely to use a station away from the highway rather than a truck stop. The pumps with card/fuel limits are a nuisance as are the ones that want a zip code, another nuisance as we have a foreign card.
The usual drill is for the DW to trot off inside to get the pump opened up which, with 2 tanks to fill, is a very nice sale being more than what 5 cars would be.
This system works pretty good except for when there is a delay getting the pump opened & I don't know why. Usually because there is a line at the cash register.
We really should use our FSRs at the gas stations.
Yeah, I feel guilty sometimes about the space my 55' length takes up but no, I don't go trotting off to the restroom especially if it is a busy small station.
