I have 2 Hondas and will run them for air if I need to, but they are noisy and I get tired of it. I like quiet, but I dislike it being 95F in the camper, and so does my chocolate. The 90s is about my limit. Right now they're chained to a picnic table in the next empty site, about 100' away. I carry lots of 30a cable for this purpose.
I try to not be judgmental, but when I see people running them at night to watch TV, that kinda gets me. I'll bet they don't even know what an inverter is.

Buy a new one, use it and return it? No. Not ethical.
