Funny things that really happen RV'ing

While traveling with my new wife's parents on a trip to N. Carolina, we were looking for a campground for the night. After some backroad searching, we decided to ask someone. There was a man setting on his porch, so we pulled over and asked him where it was. He proceeded to give us instructions, like we were familiar with the area: go to so and so's house and turn this way and go until you get to some creek, and after the creek you will see Willys place. Turn left and go about a mile, and you will see a small store. Go in and ask him where it is because you "ain't gonna find it anyway".
  • I recognize you, you were the one that gave us directions, weren't you. Just kidding.LOL
  • Yeah. We use land marks for directions. Always have. The big yellow house, Or the big Red silo. Is much easier to see than the little green marker. Most always works,

We go to one CG. That directly tells you NOT to use a GPS, You will get lost. Instead. Pick the middle road at the turn.
