Future Toad Purchased

Sweet!

We just bought an unlimited Sport S this weekend. It is for my wife and she wanted the contrast of the black fenders against the silver. She didn't want the rubicon though. She doesn't like the aggressive (mud) appearance. It has all the options I want/need with the exception of an extra soft top and maybe an extra set of mud tires later on. We will purchase those at a later date. It will become her weekday driver and my weekend toy. New baseplates are already ordered. Cant wait to start tinkering with it and adding stuff.

Ah. Leather.
My '06 Rubicon doesn't have leather seats. Nor does it have power windows.
Apparently, Jeep decided that the Rubicon should be the "top of the line" rig, with ALL the bells and whistles.
I'm glad I don't want a new one.
However, my son has a '12 or '13 Rubicon, and he's very happy with it.

Neither the wife or I liked the Rubicons due to the leather seats. Our Sahara is loaded with just about everything but leather.
