No reservations and a loose itinerary makes it interesting
February-March: Death Valley/Gold Butte/Lunar Crater/Toroweap/Valley of Fire 3+ weeks
April: Eastern Oregon 2 weeks
May: North Rim Grand Canyon/Monument Valley/Canyon de Chelly/Bisti Badlands/Southeaster UT-Northeastern AZ-Northwestern NM backroads/Glen Canyon NRA/Painted Desert-Petrified Forest/Coal Canyon 5 weeks
June: Northeast OR-Southeast WA (the Palouse and Wallawa Mts) 2 weeks
July: music festivals (Portland-blues, Winthrop-blues, Deming-classic rock & country, Deming-blues, Skagit county- several fundraisers I am a photographer at each one) long weekends
September/October: Yellowstone/Tetons/Western WY, Eastern and Southern ID, Eastern OR 5 weeks
November-February 2015: local mid-week explorations
We combine exploration with photography, rockhounding, day hikes, checking out local history and culture
