One thing about the Ga entrance fee, besides the fact that you only pay for one night, it allows you entrance into any other Ga state park when it is in date. So I pay one $5 entrance fee in addition to my reasonable camping fees, and go then go to another park and not pay the entrance fee again. Oh yeah, historic sites are not included with state parks for entrance fees.
Other states don't recognize the entrance fee from one state to another (learned that during the spring in FL state parks).
