To clarify what I said about parking fee, if you pay parking fee for a day and visit another state park that day, you don't have to pay an additional fee. Now I suppose I should back down a bit, and say I think that rule is still in effect. I have had an annual pass or annual friends membership with pass for long enough that I haven't tried it in a while. I tried looking on website but couldn't see the rule...
Another cool thing is if you have a library card at a GA Pines (state wide system) library, you can check out a park pass for a week at no charge.. that park pass also includes historic site pass.
