Whatever you get, it takes about a year of owning the RV to flush-out all the problems, fixes, and to individualize it enough to make it "home". Really!
Fixes? Well lets see? How about .... everything! Everything in the camper is subject to failure or faulty manufacturing. Everything! And "it" happens at the worst possible time.
Who would have thought that a brand-spankin' new 5er would need 2 doors completely replaced within the first 2 weeks of ownershp? Who would have thought that the closet shelf and cloths bar would collapse the first time on the road. Who would have thought one of the wheel hubs would experience brake failure because the springs holding the brake shoes broke and ground the inside of the hubs? Who would have though the television antenna would fall apart? Who would have thought brand new tires would blow out in the first 2 months of ownership? yea... stuff like that.... it happened to us. If we would have purchased the camper and hit the road full timing immediately, we would have been sunk for sure! It took a year to flush all this type of stuff out.
Now, it's a great camper. Nothing has broken in the last 5 outings! We use it every day, and I feel like I've rebuilt the entire thing from the inside out! Literally! stronger and better,... much better than factory.
