1) You can't defy the laws of physics so don't try. We will need to get a TV that is capable of towing everything plus a safety factor of 20%. So far the full size van or a fifth wheel are what we are leaning towards as we want to have a detachable TV. I suppose it's going to come down to what we decide to trailer in. Point taken in giving ourselves plenty of room in the trailer (and the TV).
2) If you want to make it happen you will make it happen. From what I've read from Full Timers both here and elsewhere is don't get too caught up in the details. If you want to make this work, you will make it work. Of course I want to increase my chances of having a good experience (see number 1 above) so I will keep asking questions and hope for good honest answers.
Next on the agenda is figuring out a true cost of doing this. Look for a new thread on budgeting for this trip.

As far as the TV, don’t get caught in that 20% margin for safety. The manuf has already figured in a margin so that it won’t fail prematurely!
