I’ve had a TomTom for use in the car or truck for about 5 years. I bought a Garmin RV-760 LMT for the coach back in the spring. I did not buy the optional backup camera.
Neither one is perfect but, so far, I like the Garmin better for navigating the RV.
One nice feature of the Garmin is the built-in Bluetooth for the cell phone. Our older coach did not have it previously.
Biggest annoyance is the warnings for sharp curve ahead. It starts giving this warning about a mile out. I live in West Virginia. There are times that it is warning me of curves that are three sharp curves ahead of my present location. I would like to disable or turn off that feature for when I’m in the mountains, as it is nothing more than a distraction to me. I grew up I West Virginia. I know what to expect when driving the roads here. I can see where this feature could be useful in another area.
